I'm kalloway, long-time maker of zines. Back in the late-90's/early-00's I made a series of music zines, and after that I made zines out of short fiction. I want to get back in the habit and make zines about all sorts of things - writing, music, media...
I'm taichara and my zine history has been wobbly but present, lol -- aside from Pern OC-centric vaguely apa-style things in the late 90s, most of my zine stuff until the last ~10 years has been a few submissions to digital ttrpg zines.
Then I started making my own (ttrpg) stuff because why not? Then stripping down the format of what I did, starting some years ago.
Last year I finally started doing some non(-exclusively)-ttrpg zines and I want to do a shitton more; a lot of fiction, probably *lol* but also other things. I do digital print-at-homes but will happily make dead tree versions ~
Just finished a zine last night in fact! :D It's called Castles In The Sky and it's about how it's fine, damn it to just dream and daydream about your hobbies, you don't have to be On all the time.

Hi to all, I'm Dylan and like you I love zines! In the past I've just contributed to digital fanzines with illustrations, but I fell in love with A4 paper 6 sheet zines and I'm currently in progress with one, I am mixing collage with some of my own art, I had to put it on pause because during winter the glue takes too long to dry ahah
Some of my favourite zines are the ones I got at the local events, a special one that comes to mind was a "monsters prom photos" which had on the last page a space to draw your own which I did and I still love the idea!
I'm really excited to have found this community so nice to meet you all :)
Hi! I started making zines right out of high school in the late 80s. I did a surrealist arty zine called PCC, and then I collaborated with some punk zines. I then did Lushbaby Weekly (a Marc Almond fanzine), Mo Betta Goth Zine, and Rude Girl (a feminist zine). All of these except for PCC were collaborations because I really enjoy making zines with other people. A few years ago I did a couple of issues of a personal zine called Donkey Lady Road. Lately I have wanted to get back into making zines and have even made a few of the one-page folded zines, but I have not printed them. Yet.
I am so excited to find this community thanks to kalloway's post!
